  3. Sincere condolences Kirk and Frank on the passing of your dear Mother. Gerry was such a sweet kind woman, always friendly and caring for the people of the community, welcoming new residents, UCW ladies ,how many sandwiches she must have made! Going on her walks, she always had a wave and hello. You will miss this great lady but your memories will bring the smiles back and comfort you. May God Bless and comfort you.

  5. Kirk and Frank
Our sincere condolences to you and your families
I enjoyed many conversations with your mom when she would come to the farm to get her hair done. She had a great sense of humor and I enjoyed her teaching stories. I was surprised to find out that we had the same relative Phyllis Clark my Dads cousin Gary’s wife from Winnipeg. You will have many fond memories and take comfort in knowing she is with your Dad.

  7. I’m picturing mom and Gerry and some of the gals from the coffee “clatch” all being reunited! Kirk, Frank and family – we are so very sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing but I know Ken and Diane would be there waiting with open arms upon her arrival. Oh the many, many memories, the conversations – Gerry was always there when mom or our family needed her. Those Friday shopping sprees they went on – their trips to the library or to a tea being held in Souris, or a funeral or event that the UCW was having to help with – Gerry was always there. How they enjoyed their Friday “outings” to Souris! Gerry was always called upon in the early years to do mom’s “perm” – oh, those were the days and they had their “teaching” days to reminisce about as well. She thoroughly enjoyed her winters out west. Take care and treasure the good ol days and know that we have a lot of special memories that we too shall fondly remember.

  9. Sincere condolences on the loss of Auntie Gerry. She was a wonderful aunt, always welcoming. From as long as I can remember, she was the heart of the Budd family. She was a regular visitor for our grandmother and a hostess for all the Budd family. She was also our knowledge keeper. She loved sharing family history. Hers was a life well lived!
I am honoured to have her in my life.
    Linda and Ken May.
