Ramsey, Ronald Leslie

Ron, 96 years, beloved husband of the late Lucy Ramsey, father of Jim, Cathy, Doug and the late Allan. Ron passed away at the Souris Health Centre on March 10, 2025. Funeral service will be held at the Centennial Centre, Hartney, Manitoba, on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Lauder Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Ron, donations may be made to the Lauder Cemetery Fund Box 66 Lauder, Manitoba R0M 1C0 or to a charity of your choice.

  1. Condolences to the Ramsey families on the loss of Ron. He was such a lovely man and we had many visits with him at Victoria Park Lodge. He will certainly be missed by his family, friends and his community.

    So sorry to hear of your loss. Your father will be greatly missed by all who knew him or had the pleasure to meet him. He was another of those strong Deleau / Lauder / Hartney father figures, so present in many of our lives. The example he provided through his work, humour and family was a standard set for all of us. He has left us with so many pleasant and happy memories. May those many memories soften the grief of his passing.
