Robertson, Dannie

Robertson: Dannie, beloved husband of Joyce Robertson, father of Barrie (Val), grandfather of Robert Robertson (Tamara McGee), great grandfather of Mila and Dax, passed away at the Hartney Community Health Centre on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the age of 100 years. A private family graveside service was held at the Riverside Cemetery, Hartney, Manitoba.

We have many fond memories of square dancing with you both. Garry and his family remember Dannie delivering fuel to their farm for years and years. We will be thinking of you during this very sad time, Ruth, Garry and family

  5. So very sad to hear this news Joyce! Hopefully you can feel all the love and hugs we are sending your way. Dannie was our school bus driver for our entire school years. He always had a friendly “good morning” when he picked us up….whether we felt like being cheerful or not, HE ALWAYS WAS! He was very, very special. Take care and please give our best to the family.

    hundred years old and always the true gentleman! I remember him being an expert dancer, and helping us younger ones, especially at one year of square dance lessons.
