Dennis, 80 years, beloved husband of Cheryl Tanguay, father of Laura (Jaret) and Brad (Crystal), grandpa of Ethan and Rylin. Dennis passed away at his residence in Souris, Manitoba on December 22, 2025. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, Souris on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. In memory of Dennis, donations may be made to the Souris-Glenwood Fire Department c/o Municipality of Souris-Glenwood Box 518 Souris, Manitoba R0K 2C0 or to the Souris Personal Care Home Court Yard Fund c/o Prairie Mountain Health Box 10 Souris, Manitoba R0K 2C0.

  6. The most outstanding boss I ever had. Taught me so much. He fought hard with his health issues . He was very interested in the Souris community and tried to make things better ,especially when he was mayor ,for everyone’s benefit. Rest easy Dennis. You have earned your wings..

  10. Denny was Ron’s cousin. They spent many wonderful years growing up together in Souris. They thought the world of each other and as they became adults the feelings remain.

  18. My sincere condolences to all of Denny’s family. Like Paul and Jennifer I will also miss seeing him come around the corner in his truck, give me a wave if I was outside, and his buddy Bear come running out and jumping into his truck and off they would go to the country for a run. RIP Denny.

  19. Dennis was a young man who befriended me and welcomed me to Souris in 1958 & 1960 when I was hired as Sports Director. My Condolences to his family on the loss of a true gentleman
