Palmer, Janice Louise

Janice Louise Palmer (nee Baillie) at the age of 74 passed away peacefully with her Daughter by her side on the morning of Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Janice was born on June 29, 1950. She was predeceased by her Mother Louise Anne Bilton and Father Alexander Allan Baillie, Husband Douglas Palmer and friend Lawrence Kraeker.

Family meant everything to her and her Grandchildren could do no wrong in her eyes. Simple was always the best way and it did not matter as long as we were all together. Her wishes came true after meeting Lawrence when they traveled to Mexico several times. She especially loved the trip they took with her Grandchildren to Cuba. She will be greatly missed and loved to the moon and back always and forever.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Tri Lake Health Center and Clinic in Killarney, MB for the care she received over the years.

Janice is survived by her Daughter Stacey (Boyd) Richardson, Granddaughter Courtney (Riley) McLeod, Grandson Kyle Richardson (Cassidy Griemann).

A private graveside in the Souris & Glenwood Cemetery was held at her request.  In memory of Janice, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

  1. I’m so sorry for your loss Stacey. Janice was a wonderful caring lady. I got to know her through Doug as he and I worked together (turbo, Maple Leaf) thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

  2. Our sincere condolences Stacey & family. Both Doug & I have lost our moms. It’s a huge loss indeed. Wishing you peace in your sorrow.
