McKinnon: Patricia Stella, (Nee: Cantlon) 87 years, beloved wife of the late Doug McKinnon, mother of Lori Kreuger and the late Blaine McKinnon, passed away in the Souris Personal Care Home on Thursday, September 5, 2019. A private family service will be held at a later date. In memory of Pat, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.

I remember Pat from Hartney late 1950’s. She worked at Louie’s Cafe and was just quitting as I started at age eleven. She showed me basically how to waitress in a day. Saw her and Doug many Saturday nights in the following years, until I finished school. My Mom, Jessie Morden, knew and liked Pat as well. Long time ago! Condolences to all! Edith (Morden) Tarbet, AB

We were so sad to hear your Mom had passed. All of our fond memories of Hartney include your family. We always remember your mom’s smile and laughter, your dad’s quiet but strong presence, and Blaine’s kind (and mischievous when he was young!) smile. Bev and Nancy were so happy to be able to stop in Selkirk a few years ago to visit your mom, dad and Blaine. Your whole family is so dear to us.
