Douglas: Jack, 88 years, beloved husband of Donna Douglas, father of Kim, Heather and Bob, passed away in the Souris Health Centre on Saturday, June 22, 2019. Funeral Service was held at Kowalchuk’s Funeral Chapel, Souris on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Please dress casual by the family’s request. Private interment in the Elgin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Jack, donations may be made to Souris Hospital Palliative Care Fund or to the Souris Portable Ultrasound Fund: both c/o Praire Mountain Health Box 10, Souris, Manitoba R0K 2C0.

  6. My sincere sympathy to Donna and family. I remember the excitement at the end of my Grade 8 at a school girls party with the teachers when Miss Nicol showed up with a ring! I remember my Dad enjoying the kids on the school bus. Jack went about his affairs in a smiling, quiet way and took good care of what he had.
