Mac, 77 years, beloved husband of Betty Draper, father of Chris, Craig and Jon. Mac passed away in the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, July 30, 2023. In keeping with Mac’s wishes there will be no funeral service. A private interment will be held at the Elgin Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Mac, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
Mac was a classmate of mine in Elgin High School. His dad was a 4-H Beef calf club leader. I remember I envied Mac getting time off school to go to Winter Fair showing cattle. Later with my husband we visited the farm to see a bull Bill was interested in. Over the years I would take note of Mac’s various involvements in the cattle industry, especially purebred cattle. My sympathy to the family, to Betty, Chris, Craig and Jon.

To Mrs. Draper and family,
I got to know Mac through his connection to Bar 5 and I am saddened to learn of his passing. Mac was an excellent showman, and certainly put his talents to work, showing more class winners and champions than most people could dream of. Back in the barn Mac was just one of the guys, and always willing to share show and sale tips so we all had a chance to learn and grow.
My condolences to all the Draper family.
Darcy Hickson, Brandon.
