Sharon Lee Howell (O’Hearne) passed away on February 9,2022, at the young age of 71 after a brief fight with cancer in Souris Manitoba. With her only child Nicolle (Nikki)& son in-law Darryl Moreau by her side.
Sharon was born in London, ON. March 10,1950. To her loving parents Donald & Francis (Divers) O’Hearne. She went to school in France as a young child. Sharon’s parents laid roots in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1962 after Donald was posted with the RCAF. Sharon graduated from Peacock High School. She was always an entrepreneur and involved herself in the community. She owned her own travel agencies Hession & Intra Travel for many years in Moose Jaw SK. She then moved on to follow her heart and bought a local flower shop (Plaza Petals Flower Shoppe) with her daughter Nicolle in Souris Manitoba.
Sharon enjoyed Genealogy/ Ancestry/ Re-Finishing antique furniture and being creative with flower arrangements. Sharon loved animals, she had so many pets in her lifetime. Sharon will be deeply missed by Family, Friends and all who knew her.
Sharon is predeceased by her loving parents Donald & Francis O’Hearne.
Sharon is survived by her Daughter Nicolle (Nikki) (Darryl), grandson Keerin Moreau, Sister Donna (Jack) Pick. Also including Nieces & Nephew. And her best friend / fur-baby Maggie.
To celebrate Sharon’s life a come and go reception for family and friends will be held at THE PLUM, Souris, Manitoba on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 2:00 ~ 4:00 p.m.
Memorial donations can be made in Sharon’s name to the Souris River Bark Park.

Nikki, Darryl and Keerin, we are so sorry to hear of Sharon’s passing. I’m so glad that you got the time to spend with her Nik, not just the past month, but the the past years. Working side by side and laughing together was such a gift not many are given. You were able to make such fantastic memories together. Sharon and I were distant relatives and met on ancestry.co.uk, where we had a few chats about our shared branch of the family tree. I discovered today, whilst carefully adding people to my tree, that I could see Sharon instead of it being marked as Private, and this led me to here to discover the sad news of her passing. My condolences to her family, I will keep you in my thoughts.
