Lisitza: Kathy, 68 years, beloved wife of the late Larry Lisitza, mother of Jim and Kelly, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, April 10, 2021. A private family service will be held at a later date. In memory of Kathy, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba.
I was so sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing. Kathy and I met when we both started working at Brandon Mental Hospital. Her friendly and down to earth ways struck a chord with me and we became fast friends. We spent may hours biking and walking on the North Hill and at the Riverbank Discovery Centre. Unfortunately, we slowly drifted apart after she and Larry moved from Brandon but we did reconnect a couple of times for coffee after they moved back. My deepest condolences to her children and family.

Ron and I shared great times with Kathy and Larry, our George Lake neighbours. They were the best neighbours, always willing to extend a helping hand. Kathy and I became fast friends. We enjoyed many adventures together and we sometimes got into mischief. What a great friend!!
We treasure our sweet memories of Kathy and Larry and are so grateful that our paths crossed.
Jim, Kelly and families, our heartfelt condolences in the loss of your dear Mother, and Father, much too soon.
With love

Jim & Kelly: Our son Ian was going through the F.F. reminders and saw the passing of your mother, which he sent to us in BC. I first met Kathy when she and Larry first got together. Your mon was a wonderful friend to Marilyn and myself. I was also taken back with the news that your father Larry had also passed on. Both Kathy and Larry did a lot to help myself with the terrible affliction I had. The city’s of Brandon, Flin Flon and Bossevain have all lost a great pair of do gooders. You both should be very proud of your parents and the work they both did. Marilyn and myself wish you comfort in this sad time in your young lives.
Love to you both and your families.
Marilyn and Bob Saul Sooke BC.
Very sad for Kathy & Larry’s family to lose both of them months apart.
We remember the great times we had at Craven and Dauphin Country Music Festivals.
Living on Brandon’s North Hill,
Kathy and I enjoyed many long walks with our dogs, chatting
all the way.
Although we lost touch for periods I tried to keep connected with phone calls.
I will remember Kathy fondly,
Proof of Heaven!
