  6. Florence and family,
So sorry to hear of Sam’s passing. I am glad that I got to know him better through all the years of Cougar organization interaction. The hours he spent selling tickets to get into the game-amazing! It will not be the same not seeing Sam behind the window. If there is a hockey rink in heaven I know Grant will be standing there ready to greet him. As
one of the other Cougar volunteers said – It truly is the end of an era.
    RIP Sam

John and I were saddened by the news of Sam’s passing. I personally have great memories of Sam giving me a hard time every time he entered the Modern when I worked there. Even when we came back to Souris to visit and we bumped into him, he always had a smart ass comment for me! Sam was certainly a great presence in the community and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to cross his path.
