Mom was born in Carievale, Saskatchewan on May 1, 1923, daughter of Herbert and Pearl Jasper. She was the youngest of eight children. She passed away on June 2, 2023 at the age of 100 years. The family moved to Manitoba in the early thirties and farmed in the Deleau district. She attended school in Deleau where she met her later to be husband Ab Deleau. Davida “Doreen” Dodd was born October 7, 1949 in the old Souris Hospital. She passed away on May 28, 2023 at the Souris Personal Care Home. She was the youngest child of David and Theresa (Prevost) Bianco. Doreen grew up on the family farm in the Terrance district where she formed a love for animals, baking, gardening, flowers and family. She attended Millan School and Souris School. Ken, 85 years, beloved husband of the late Pat Sparrow, father of Curtis, Cathy and Cory. Ken passed away in the Souris Health Centre on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. It is with broken hearts, our family announces the passing of Bernadette (Bernie) Martin at the Souris Personal Care Home on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the age of 98.
Bernie was born on the Lobreau Farm in the RM of Cameron on August 20, 1924. Bernie attended Bede School and told many stories of riding horse and buggy with her 7 sibling to school. On November 12, 1952, Bernie married John and had a productive farming life together for 59 years, thus celebrating their 100 years farm designation

Bernice passed away peacefully April 30, 2023 at the Misericordia Health Centre in Winnipeg.
She was born April 27, 1929 at Minto, MB and was the eldest child of Fred and Marge Raymer. Following her school days, she was employed by the Manitoba Telephone System in Minto.
She married Len Haskett in 1948 which resulted in a strong partnership that lasted over 66 years. Len was in the employ of Manitoba Hydro and they moved to Souris in 1966 after having lived
With great sadness we announce the passing of Annette, Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Annette was the 8th of 11 children (6 boys and 5 girls) born to Frank and Henriette Dooley of Grande Clairiere. She was born at Mrs. Forbes nursing home in Hartney on December 31st, 1940. She and her Mother rode home in Vital Bertholet’s Snow Plane, and she grew up with her 10 siblings on the Dooley Farm just east of Grande Clairiere and attended school at Grande Clairiere.
