Bernice Alberta (Raymer) Haskett

Bernice passed away peacefully April 30, 2023 at the Misericordia Health Centre in Winnipeg.

She was born April 27, 1929 at Minto, MB and was the eldest child of Fred and Marge Raymer. Following her school days, she was employed by the Manitoba Telephone System in Minto.

She had a way of engaging friends and strangers and will be remembered for her outgoing personality and genuine interest in other people. She was a life long member of the United Church. Her love of music included playing the piano and singing in the choir.

Mom moved to Seine River Assisted Living in Winnipeg in September 2022 where she made new friends among the residents and staff.

Mom was predeceased by her husband Len and her brother Bob.

Left to cherish her memory is son Greg (Edie); grand children Shannon (Derrick), Jillian (Grant); great grandchildren Lachlan, Lennon, Sawyer and Piper; sisters Beth Harrison and Joan Denoon; numerous nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to all the family who spent time with Mom prior to her passing and their reminding her that she was well loved.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Bernice can be made to the Souris Health Centre c/o Prairie Mountain Health Box 10 Souris, Manitoba R0K 2C0.
