I have a very good memory of Albert Legare , my first cousin so we grew up on the same farm in Dunrea! I offer deeper condolences to his family!
We were all very shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Albert’s passing. He was so well liked and respected here at the Co-op Home Centre. The pride he took in his work was second to none. Often, other stores were sent to come tour our lumber yard as an example of how one should be kept, he always made sure it was spotless and organized – that was known about him throughout the CRS. To say we will miss him is an understatement. Not just for his work ethic, but for the care he showed towards his co-workers and the laughs he gave us everyday. He always talked so highly of you Cheri, I can’t imagine how difficult going through this loss is for you and your family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers!
Dear Bert, I have such fond memories of some of our times in Dunrea. My condolences to Cheri and family, Alice and family, and Paul and family. Rest in peace my dear cousin.

really enjoyed working with Albert. condolences to Cheri and family also to Paul and Alice.
Condolences to you Cheri and also to Marsha, Kayla and Michael without forgetting Alice and family and Paul and family. My prayer goes out to you all. Sorry to have seen him go so early. Way back then, the Legares were known to be the last ones to leave the restaurant on Saturday nights in Dunrea. I’m a cousin from the other Legare family with Emile being a first cousin. Those ties opened up the gates wide open to those famous family picnics from years ago. Albert was a teenager at the time.
So sorry for your loss. From what I have read in the comments here, you are surrounded by good friends and family to support you through this difficult time. Sincere condolences.
Heartfelt sympathy, love and hugs to Cheri, Marsha, Kayla and Michael; dear cousins Alice (Gordon), Paul (Donna) and your families.
Although we know life is fragile gift with no guarantees for tomorrow, it was shocking and sad to receive the news of Albert’s sudden passing from his earthly journey. This kind, gentle, humorous soul with a twinkle in his eyes will be missed.
Memories of my families annual visit from St. Claude to Dunrea while growing up followed by fewer but meaningful visits as adults which in time included Cheri when you married and lived in B.C. and now annual fall visits in Souris (with my mom Antoinette Vandel and my brother Ray… we won’t forget sitting in your backyard and laughing at the entertainment your two cats gave us with their playful antics); spontaneous texts at Christmas, New Years and throughout the year have now ALL become a treasured memory. A Blessing! Thank you for having shared life with all of us your family, friends, co-workers, all who knew you.,
Albert had a quiet faith. Rest in peace dear cousin and friend until we meet again.
