Norval was predeceased by his wife Joyce (Porter), his parents, Artie and Fanny More, his brothers and wives Alex (Dorothy), Ossie (Verona) and Claire, his brother-in-laws Geordie (Irene) and Bruce, his second wife Joyce-Joyce Betker and his daughter-in-law Jo- Ann.

Norval said “I’ve had a really good life. I wouldn’t change a thing!” The changes in the world that he witnessed and adapted to were amazing. He was a farmer through and through and loved nothing better than being in the field. He knew many people and each one has a memory special to them. It could be his laughter, teasing, telling jokes, pranks or visiting. We will cherish our memories even when the love for him leaks out of our eyes.
Thank you from Norval More’s family for the care and friendship he received at Souris Personal Care Home. Thank you to Dr. Cram for looking after him in PCH and during this difficult time. Colleen, Leslie and Greg and our families.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the Elgin United Church, Elgin, Manitoba. Interment in the Elgin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Souris Fellowship Centre or Souris-Glenwood Library or charity of your choice.
