Patterson, Reginald James

Patterson: Reginald, 64 years, beloved husband of Marsha Patterson, father of Whitney, Kyla and William, passed away in the Souris Health Centre on Sunday, January 5, 2020.  Funeral service was held at the Oak Lake Community Hall, Oak Lake, Manitoba on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Public interment in the Griswold Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. In memory of Reg, donations may be made to the Western Manitoba Cancer Centre c/o PRHC Foundation 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 2B3 or to a charity of your choice.

  1. My sincere sympathies to Marsha and her family on the passing of Reg. He was a great person and enjoyed many times having coffee at the Oak Lake Hotel and then Golden Embers. He had such a great sense of humor!

  10. To the Patterson Family, I am profoundly sorry for your loss. I’ll never forget the sound of Reg’s laugh and how he used to put his hat on Rusty the horse’s head and he’d chuckle. A memory I’ll forever have!

    I remember many great times and conversations with Reg when we were in university. A great guy with a loving heart for his family, his horses and agriculture.

  12. I met you and Reg at Gab’s social in Rivers. I got to thinking of Reg and thought I would say something on Facebook. I have just realized that he passed away. He was such a good guy, I will miss my good friend. As Reg said, we have been friends for a long time. I feel sad. I give you my deepest sympathies.
