Brandon: Isabel Ruth. April 12, 1944 – April 29, 2018. Daughter of the late Forrest and Doris (Reid) Brandon. She attended Souris School, graduating in 1963. Ruth went on to Winnipeg to school of Nursing, graduating in 1966. The north called and she was hired in Norway House where she worked for Indian Affairs. She returned to Winnipeg but soon moved to Vancouver and was employed by the Vancouver Police Department as a nurse for 30 years. Ruth returned to Souris upon retirement in 2000.

Brister: Isabelle passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Souris Personal Care Home, she was 94.
Isabelle was born on January 12, 1924 to Frank and Isabella Alcock. She was raised in the Millerway District and took her schooling in Elgin. She married Roy Brister of Elgin on July 4, 1945. Beverly Wayne Bowles of Souris, Manitoba passed away at Souris Hospital on February 24, 2017. Wayne was born in Souris on November 14, 1938 to Allen and Reita Bowles. Wayne grew up on the family farm in the Riverview School District. He completed his schooling in the Souris School. At a very young age, he exhibited a love of animals and nature. Carol was born June 15th 1950 in Oxbow SK. She grew up in Glen Ewen SK. In September 1970 she met her lifelong husband Harvey. Married November 20th 1970. The 2 of them resided in Carroll MB. In August 2004 they decided to move to Brandon MB.
Carol passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Assiniboine Centre.
