Winnifred Eleanor Vandusen, 88, passed away on December 31,2025 at the Hartney Community Health Centre.
Eleanor was born in a house in Hartney, Manitoba on May 11,1937. She was the only child of Nick and Annie (Dodd) Bell.
Eleanor was raised on a farm near Hartney. She received her education at the Hartney School. She worked hard from an early age, one of her first jobs was working at the Woodhull Drugstore in Hartney.
She married Jim Gloor of Pipestone

Randal George Vandermeulen – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Vandermeulen on 23 November 2016 at his home in Nanaimo, BC. Randy’s life was cut short after a valiant battle with cancer.
Randy was born on 19 February 1957 in Souris, Manitoba. He worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway as a locomotive engineer. Most of his 35-year career was worked out of the Brandon terminal — relocating to Saskatchewan for his final 5 years and retiring to Vancouver

VINCK: Desire John (Des) Vinck died peacefully at Souris Hospital on June 1, 2016 at the age of 73, after a 1 1/2 year battle with multi system atrophy. He is survived by his wife Marie (Marcq), his daughter Michelle (Sydney, Whitney, Avery); his daughter Melanie (Maya, Saffia). He was predeceased by his parents John and Zelia and infant sister Alice. Des was born July 6, 1942, in Hartney. He enjoyed farming and took over the farm in the Grande Clairiere/Lauder area after his marriage
