Winnie passed away peacefully on December 26, 2023, at the Hartney Health Center in Hartney, MB.
Winnie was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec on July 29, 1929. She was the only child of Ed and Ola Dorman. She leaves to mourn Dale, her loving husband of 73 years: Children: Val and Brad (Patty), Grandchildren: Lindsay (Kevin) Rowan and Landon (Kirby) White, and Great Grandchildren: Riley and Stella Rowan and Monroe, Fallon and Ledger White along
Alys (Sammy), 93 years, beloved wife of the late Charles (Chick) Will, passed away in the Souris Personal Care Home on September 20, 2023. A private graveside funeral service was held at the Carroll Cemetery. In memory of Sammy, donations may be made to the Souris Legion.
Beverley Jean Wilson (nee Stamp) passed away peacefully on February 19, 2023, with her loved ones by her side after a short but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 71.
Bev was born on December 13, 1951 in Brandon to Nellie and Jimmie Stamp, the youngest of the three Stamp girls. She would grow up on the family farm in Carroll which Bev would talk about with her children and grandchildren for many years to come. Bev attended school in Carroll until Grade 9 before moving on to Souris
Averill Whitfield – educator, historian, musical and creative volunteer, mother, Nana, beloved wife and business partner of Ralph – passed away peacefully on December 15, 2022 with family by her side. Averill lives on through her family and the legacy of contributions she made to her community of Souris, Manitoba.
Averill was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Evelyn ‘May’ and George Iliffe on April 2, 1938. She was the baby sister to brothers Jack (Barbara) and Barry ‘Bar’
Williams: Joyce, 88 years, beloved partner of Don Lindsay, mother of Kenny, Fran and Debbie, passed away in the Souris Health Centre on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Funeral Arrangements are pending. In memory of Joyce, donations may be made the Oak Lake Legion.

Mark was born in Minnedosa on Sept 6, 1982. He spent his childhood growing up in Minnedosa, Swan River and Souris. At age 8 he began training in the art of Tae Kwon Do and continued until age 13. He was also a member of Beavers Cubs and Scouts until his teen years. He had a great love for the outdoors, camping and fishing. Mark was also an avid reader and loved to watch movies. One of his favorite authors was Stephen King.

Marion Edith (Rae) White was born on June 17, 1933 to James and Esther (Bowden) Rae of Arcola, SK and moved to Napinka, Manitoba in 1949.
Marion attended school in Arcola, SK and Napinka, Manitoba and after leaving school in 1950 she became a telephone switch board operator for MTS in Hartney, MB.
On December 28, 1953, Marion married Frederick White of Hartney, Manitoba. They moved to Hay River, NWT where they lived for 13.5 years. They had four children; Dennis, Darrell, Gordon and Janice.
