Hardy: Clair, 81 years, beloved husband of the late Janice Hardy, father of Darren and Darlene, passed away suddenly at his residence in Brandon, Manitoba on Thursday, December 3, 2020. A private graveside funeral service will be held at the Rosewood Cemetery, Brandon, Manitoba at a later date. In memory of Clair, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba.

We offer our sincere condolences to Clair’s family at this sad time. Clair was a cousin I truly admired and a person I really enjoyed being with. From my eyes he was always a positive and a happy person. Definitely a very smart and excellent carpenter. I wish we could have lived closer to spend more time together. He will be missed. Darren: you may remember me from being your catechism teacher with my son Dean at St Augustine’s.
To the Hardy family our sincere condolences on the passing of Clair. I remember when Clair would come to ball practice and ask how Darren was doing ? He just wanted Darren to do the best he could. Your family is our thoughts . Take Care Darren.
So sorry for the loss of your Dad, Darlene, Darren and families. When we became his neighbour and friend 20 years ago he gently guided us with practical help on country living that was greatly appreciated. Many happy memories will keep him close in your hearts.

To Clair’s family,
We were saddened to learn of Clair’s passing. He was a valued neighbour, when he lived in the Nesbitt community. Our kids will always remember the “brown cow” he’d serve them, when they were along to visit. As well, Clair taught Don to bake bread. So many great memories. Our thoughts & best wishes are with you.
