  11. Patricia and I wish to express our deepest sympathy to Grace’s children and her brother Bob. One time recently, it was likely the last time she travelled east, we picked her up in Toronto and drove her to Lucknow and Uncle Bill’s. I had not seen Grace for at least twenty years and I asked Uncle Bill how I would recognize her. He laughed and said just look for someone that looks like you, a “Hunter”. He was so right. When Grace appeared at the exit door I knew instantly that she was the person going to Lucknow. We had a drive of two and a half hours to talk about the Hunter’s and the West. A good time. Our thoughts are with you as you celebrate Grace’s life.

  12. Dear Linda,Jim,Darlene, Ken and Don and all your families,
We remember your Mum with a smile for the conversations we had and a few tricks she liked to play- like the Hallowe’en that she and Mary Teetaert showed up with bags over their heads and made us guess[forever!] who they were!
Tomorrow will be a day for all to share your memories. We are sorry that we have appointments at that time but we’ll be thinking of you as you lay your Mum to rest. Blessings to all of you.

  17. To Grace’s family, When visiting in Souris a few years ago, we accidentally came upon Grace as we hunted for the Martins. Was happy that she remembered me from many years ago! She and my Mom (Jessie Morden) visited a lot at the Rest Room in Hartney on Sat. nights for years prior to 1985. Many times they would enjoy a ice-cream cone from Loui’s Cafe and have a visit. Mom thought a lot of your Mom. Our condolences to your families. Edith (Morden) &. Bob Tarbet, Barrhead. AB
