Bill, 87 years, beloved husband of Sandra Wismer, father of Shawnna, Jeff, Stacey and the late Lance, step-father of Ron Timmins and Stewart Timmins, Bill passed away in the Hartney Community Health Centre on July 18, 2024. A private graveside service was held at the Souris & Glenwood Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Bill, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

On July 18, 2024, at the age of 94, John Leslie Alder went home to be with his best friend, Jesus.
Les was born September 2, 1929 in Crystal City Manitoba to Carmen and Laura (Mack) Alder.
He was the 3rd oldest of 9 children and grew up on the family farm near Mather Manitoba.
Along with his siblings Les attended the Graham school through grade 8 and then to Crystal City for high school.
Les drove a cream truck to earn money for Bible School. He attended Winnipeg Bible Institute
Hardy, Gerard (Jerry) Lawrence
Jerry, 76 years, beloved husband of Ginny Hardy, father of Pam and Steven, passed away suddenly at his residence on his family farm near Deleau on July 13, 2024. A memorial reception for family and friends was held at the Deleau Park, Deleau. Manitoba on Sunday, July 28, 2024. A private interment service was held at the Deleau Cemetery. Brown, Mervin Lloyd
Mervin Lloyd Brown was born in Carroll Manitoba on January 23, 1936, the seventh of eight children to Norman and Ida Brown. He attended school at Neelin and Treesbank for the first few years of his life before seeking employment, where he worked for local farmers, and spent some time working on the railroad. On June 28, 1960, he married Sheila Thornitt and moved to Alberta for a short time before moving back to Brandon. Their son Philip was born in 1962 and another move took them to the junction

Gerry, 89 years, beloved wife of the late Stan Hansen, mother of Alvin, Kelly and Cara (Alex) Butler, grandmother of Michael and Amanda (Scott), great grandma of Lillian. Gerry passed away at the Souris Health Centre on July 1, 2024. In keeping with Gerry’s wishes there will be no service. Ken, 73 years, beloved husband of the late Sheryl Denbow, father of Curtis, Carrie and Tina. Ken passed away suddenly at his residence in Reston, Manitoba on July 1, 2024. Funeral service was held at the Centennial Centre, Hartney, on Monday July 15, 2024. Interment in the Riverside Cemetery, Hartney. It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Donald (Don) Gordon Jackson, age 82. Don passed away at the Souris Health Centre on June 15, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. He continued to live life one day at a time until the very end.

Andrew Watamaniuk lived a good long life. He spent the majority of his life living on the land farming and growing a large garden that fed himself and whoever else between Souris and Gladstone needed potatoes. Andy would often say life was simple. Take care of the land and it will take care of you. Andy loved adventures. Donald Lee Cochrane passed away in Portage la Prairie hospital on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the age of 69. Donald was predeceased by his father Eldon Cochrane, mother Louella & sister Ruth. He will be remembered by his uncle Ossie Cochrane & his aunt Donalda Neufeld. There are many cousins to remember Donald as well as remaining members of the Rowe family from Nanaimo B.C.

With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Margaret Shirley (Chalmers) McBurney. Margaret was born in Brandon General Hospital 90 years ago. She had just celebrated her 90th Birthday party at the Bayside Room in Killarney. She passed from this life, May 25, 2024, with her family by her side.
She was the oldest child of Herbert and Daisy Chalmers and older sister to Bill. She received
