Bruce, 90 years, beloved husband of the late Janet Clevett, father of Denise and the late Darcy. Bruce passed away at the Souris Personal Care Home on November 17, 2024. A celebration of Bruce’s and Janet’s lives was held at the Souris Legion Club Room, Souris, Manitoba on Friday, November 22, 2024. Private interment in the Souris & Glenwood Cemetery. Darcy, 64 years, beloved husband of Jennifer Zilkey. Darcy passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on September 3, 2024. A memorial reception for family and friends was held at the Souris Legion on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Private interment in the Oak Lake Cemetery. Cochrane, Donald Lee
Donald Lee Cochrane passed away in Portage la Prairie hospital on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the age of 69. Donald was predeceased by his father Eldon Cochrane, mother Louella & sister Ruth. He will be remembered by his uncle Ossie Cochrane & his aunt Donalda Neufeld. There are many cousins to remember Donald as well as remaining members of the Rowe family from Nanaimo B.C.
Donald had a very strong interest in John Deere equipment & spent many hours looking at their pamphlets.

Allan, 96 years, beloved husband of the late Gwen Cowieson, father of Reid, Trevor and Dean, passed away at the Souris Health Centre on March 31, 2024. A graveside funeral service for family and friends will be held at the Souris & Glenwood Cemetery on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. A time of fellowship and refreshments will be held at the Souris Legion following the service. Collinson, James Donald
The family of James Donald Collinson sadly announce his passing on March 12, 2024 in Nanaimo B.C. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn, children, Greg, and Kathryn, sister Jeanne, and will be dearly missed by Hugh, Kara, Lyle, John, Islay and Nick.
Born in Souris MB on September 21, 1939, Jim was raised on the family dairy and grain farm. He graduated from the University of Manitoba (BSc Agriculture 1963), and the University of Michigan (MSc Resource Economics, 1966).

Phyllis passed away peacefully after a short illness in the Souris Hospital on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at the age 98 years old.
Phyllis was born in Myrtle Cottage in Bunclody, Manitoba on March 23, 1925. March 12th 1924 – May 7th 2023
Dad was born in Sardis BC and moved with his parents Charles and Frances and two siblings to a farm outside of Whitewood Saskatchewan where they lived during the Great Depression. At age 15 he left the farm to join the militia eventually joining up with the South Saskatchewan regiment during World War Two. Later in the war he volunteered with the First Canadian Parachute Division, which saw active service in Belgium
Cowan, Kathleen Louise
Kathleen Louise Cowan passed away peacefully in Souris Hospital on November 11, 2022. Kay was born October 11, 1953 to proud parents, Art and Reta Cowan. Kay was the oldest of 5 siblings; Doug, Debi, Janet and Bill. She grew up on the farm SW 32-6-22 RM of Cameron. Kay loved coming home to the farm for all family gatherings. Kay attended school in Hartney, Mb and graduated in 1972.

Cochrane: Ruth Ann passed away peacefully at Fairview Personal Care Home, Brandon, on Tuesday, September 28, 2022 at the age of 61 years. Ruth was born in Souris, Manitoba October 31, 1961 to Eldon & Louella Cochrane and lived in Elgin, Souris and Brandon. She will be remembered by her brother Donald of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Aunt Donalda Neufeld of Brandon, Manitoba, Uncle Ossie Cochrane of Vernon, B.C., extended family the Rowe’s who were very special to her.
