HASKETT : Lenard Stewart
Len passed away at the Souris Personal Care Home on October 11, 2015 at the age of 92.
Len was born on August 25, 1923 to Thomas and Julia Haskett, the youngest of nine children. He grew up on the family farm near Virden and went to Springvale School. He worked on the farm until he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in March 1942 and was stationed in Yorkshire, England. After the war, in 1946, he started his working career with the Manitoba Power Commission.

HARDY: Andrew Joseph William (Andy) passed away on September 25, 2015 at BRHC at the age of 83. He was predeceased by his wife Doris (2010), his brother Gabe and parents Peter and Nora Hardy. Andy leaves behind to mourn his children; Don (Barb), Karen (Chris), Ken (Mary) and eight grandchildren; Theresa, Bev, Wesley, Christopher, Heather, Lauren, Thomas, Shauna; and nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Mary Lou was born February 12, 1939 to Fred & Audrey Skrine. She was the oldest of their three children and the only girl. She grew up in the Whitefield district and took her schooling there until the school closed and she went to school in Deleau. That was where she met her husband Alex Hardy.
