Peacefully Dad passed away at the age of 84 years at the Souris Personal Care Home. He was survived by daughter Deborah Cann, son-in-law Dwight, brother Walter (Audrey), sister Joy (Gene) and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by wife Mary.

Hintz: Marion Ethel died, in her 86th year in the Souris Personal Care Home, Souris, Manitoba, on August 25, 2013 after a long period of ailing health. She was born in the Souris and Glenwood Hospital on July 25, 1928, the second daughter of Thomas and Edith Doherty.

Harkness, Thelma Irene (nee Mote), passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Souris Personal Care Home. At 16 months of age she came to Manitoba with her family and lived her entire life in the Souris area. She married Bob Harkness January 12, 1938 and together they raised 2 children. Thelma and Bob worked together on farms in the Lily and Huntingdon districts.  Hardy, Pauline passed away peacefully March 25, 2013 at the Hartney Health Center. Pauline was born December 25, 1914 and was the daughter of George Gartner and Elizabeth Stang of Primate, Saskatchewan.  Her Mother died when she was two and one-half years old.  She came to Hartney in 1939 and was a cook at the Hartney Hotel with Sam McBride. In 1941 she married John Gibson, son of George and Kate.  John developed Multiple Sclerosis and died September 7, 1970.  After John’s death
