It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Donald (Don) Gordon Jackson, age 82. Don passed away at the Souris Health Centre on June 15, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. He continued to live life one day at a time until the very end.

He spent the majority of his life living on the land farming and growing a large garden that fed himself and whoever else between Souris and Gladstone needed potatoes. Donald Lee Cochrane passed away in Portage la Prairie hospital on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the age of 69. Donald was predeceased by his father Eldon Cochrane, mother Louella & sister Ruth. Wayne was born November 19, 1948 at Forbes Nursing Home in Hartney, Manitoba. He had a happy childhood on the Family Farm east of Lauder, Manitoba with his mom and dad, brother, Wendell and across the road the “third musketeer” his cousin Jeff Keeler(Debbie).
