Dennis was born and raised in Charlottetown, PEI, to Walter and Georgina Affleck. Dennis loved growing up on the island with his two brothers (Les and Brian) and sister (Anne), while keeping busy fishing, playing baseball, football and especially hockey. Cochrane: Ruth Ann passed away peacefully at Fairview Personal Care Home, Brandon, on Tuesday, September 28, 2022 at the age of 61 years. Ruth was born in Souris, Manitoba October 31, 1961 to Eldon & Louella Cochrane and lived in Elgin, Souris and Brandon. She will be remembered by her brother Donald of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Aunt Donalda Neufeld of Brandon, Manitoba, Uncle Ossie Cochrane of Vernon, B.C., extended family the Rowe’s who were very special to her.

Lorraine was born in Souris, Manitoba, and was raised and lived in Winnipeg. Lorraine completed high school at the Glenlawn collegiate in 1963. Maguire: Harold, 89 years, beloved husband of Dianne Maguire, father of Mick, Linda, Echo and the late Moya, passed away in the Souris Personal Care Home on Saturday, September 3, 2022. A celebration of Linda’s life was held at the Souris & Glenwood Community Hall, Souris, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Private interment in the Souris & Glenwood Cemetery. SHIRLEY JOYCE BROWN 1950-2022
At the Souris Health Centre, August 9, 2022, Shirley Joyce Brown, aged 71 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Shirley was born November 27, 1950 in Brandon Manitoba to parents Nick and Helen Dunetz (nee Gumieny). Nick passed in 1962 and Helen married Matt Sidlar in 1965 and became Shirley’s beloved step father.
