DeBaie, Deborah Anne

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother and sister, Deborah DeBaie, who died suddenly on April 27th, 2022 at Brandon Regional Health Centre.

She leaves behind her two children, Stephanie and Brandon, as well as her two brothers, Terry (Cheryl) and Barry (Carolyn), and her beautiful beloved cat, Carmella.

She was predeceased by both parents, Donald and Elizabeth (Betty) DeBaie, as well as her faithful dog, Hailey.

Isabey: (Jack) Jacques Lucien Joseph was born October 14, 1939 to Narcisse and Germaine Isabey. Jack was little brother to Marie (Fern) Beaudry, Marguerite (Rollie) Hennessey and John (Donnie) Isabey. Jack was educated at convents, first in Wauchope, Saskatchewan, then in Winnipeg at St. Boniface College and St. Paul’s College.

Wiebe, Mark Kenneth

September 6, 1982 – April 4, 2022

Mark was born in Minnedosa on Sept 6, 1982.  He spent his childhood growing up in Minnedosa, Swan River and Souris.  At age 8 he began training in the art of Tae Kwon Do and continued until age 13.  He was also a member of Beavers Cubs and Scouts until his teen years.  He had a great love for the outdoors, camping and fishing. Mark was also an avid reader and loved to watch movies.  One of his favorite authors was Stephen King.

Marion Edith (Rae) White was born on June 17, 1933 to James and Esther (Bowden) Rae of Arcola, SK and moved to Napinka, Manitoba in 1949.

Marion attended school in Arcola, SK and Napinka, Manitoba and after leaving school in 1950 she became a telephone switch board operator for MTS in Hartney, MB.

On December 28, 1953, Marion married Frederick White of Hartney, Manitoba. They moved to Hay River, NWT where they lived for 13.5 years. They had four children; Dennis, Darrell, Gordon and Janice.

Tanguay, William James

Bill (William) Tanguay passed away on March 17, 2022 in Souris after a brief illness. Bill is survived by his loving wife Betty (Elizabeth), two children Jennifer (Lee) and Chris, his brother Dennis (Cheryl), his sisters Mary Ann and Pat (George), his sisters-in-law Val and Donna, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bill lived his entire life in Souris. He and his brother Dennis ran a successful business in town for over 40 years before retiring. Bill was an active member of the Souris community.
