It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Garth Boyes on July 10, 2021, in the Souris Hospital.

Garth was born on November 25, 1943, to Walter and Dorothy Boyes (Canning). He grew up on the family farm where he continued to live and farm until he retired in 2000.

On October 12, 1968, he married Lorraine Reynolds and they took over the family farm. There they raised three children Janine, Terry, and Sheena. Garth had a mixed farm with milk cows, cattle, pigs,

Barb McCullogh 1968-2021

Barb McCullogh was born in Souris, Manitoba on January 31, 1968 to Bruce and Mary Ann Carlisle. She passed away July 7, 2021 in Souris, Manitoba.

Barb had worked at the Souris Personal Care Home for over 30 years and retired three years ago. Her love of the outdoors for fun and working on her father’s farm with him were what she loved. Storm chasing with Portage Storm Chasers was her real thrill.

KLIER: Ronald Wayne James passed away peacefully at Bren-Del-Win Lodge in Deloraine, Manitoba on June 7, 2021 at the age of 77 years. Ron was born in Souris, Manitoba on May 15, 1944.

Ron lived in Souris until he moved to Brandon where he and his beautiful wife June had two wonderful children. Ron got a job working in Brandon at BMHC and had worked there for 39 years as a Power Engineer.
