Eissner: Ursula, 70 years, beloved wife of Detlef Eissner, mother of Jan and Thomas, passed away in the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. A funeral service was held at St. Paul’s United Church Souris on Friday, August 13, 2021. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Ursula, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

It is with sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Phyllis Marion Carlisle on May 27, 2021, at the Souris Personal Care Home.
Phyllis was born Feb 23, 1939 to John and Jennet Sheane, in the farmhouse located in the RM of Archie, Willen MB. She was one of six siblings, three brothers and two sisters.
After attending Roselea School she moved to Souris as a teenager in 1955 to gain employment. There she met and married former husband Gerald Carlisle in 1957.
Saunderson, Ronald Charles
Ronald Charles Saunderson passed away on May 24, 2021 at Health Science Centre in Winnipeg, with family at his side, after a short battle with cancer.

Matheson, Margaret Janet
Margaret Janet Matheson was the first of two daughters born to George and Bertha Watkin of Brandon, Manitoba on June 20th, 1932. She grew up in Brandon’s south end alongside her sister, Sandra, and many cousins, aunts and uncles. Marg loved to tell stories about the hardships of growing up in the Dirty 30’s and during the Second World War, and how she was the same age or even older than a couple of her aunts and uncles (her mom was the eldest of an exceptionally large family).

Moorman: Rev. Melvin, 81 years, beloved husband of Jeanette Moorman, father of Linda, Brent and Brian, passed away in the Souris Hospital on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Page, Myrtle Lily
Myrtle Lily Page, age 98 passed away peacefully on April 26, 2021 in Souris.
Myrtle was born June 8, 1922 on her parent’s farm in the Brandon Hills. While growing up there she attended Delton School. On March 25, 1944 she married Alfred (Fred) Page of Beresford, Manitoba. They farmed in the Brandon Hills and then south of Beresford.
Three daughters survive Myrtle: Frances (Don) Dodds, Eunice (Ed) Dewhurst, and Marjorie Page. Also surviving Myrtle are daughter-in-law Arlene Page, 11 grandchildren,

Lillian Marie Peaslee was the third daughter to Lilly & Harry Fradley of Souris and was born on a Friday, March 22nd, 1946. She proudly lived in the Souris area her entire life. Her early years were spent growing up on their property
Izzard, Margaret Clara
IZZARD: Margaret Clara Izzard (nee Dixon) passed away with family by her side at the Souris Personal Care Home on April 23, 2021 at the age of 82. Margaret was born on January 17, 1939 in Souris to parents Bob (a CPR railroad conductor) and Laurie Dixon. She was raised in Souris with her younger sister, Karen. She enjoyed a happy childhood surrounded by a large extended family. Margie (as she was called by many of her longtime friends) had a large circle of friends, many
