Jackie, 77 years, beloved partner of Murray Cameron, mother of Rick (Amber), Ryan (Jasmin), Janna and her beloved grandchildren Taylor, Brayden and AJ. Jackie is also survived by her brother Brian (Susan) Rosa. Jackie passed away suddenly at her residences in Souris, Manitoba on May 19, 2025. Irene Josephine Catherine Charles (nee Dooley)
It is with great sadness, that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, Irene Charles, on May 14, 2025.
Irene was born December 12, 1930, the first of eleven children born to Frank and Henrietta (Martine) Dooley. She had six brothers and four sisters. She lived in Hartney since 1958. She married John Charles on May 16, 1949. John died on November 30, 2007.
Besides her husband John, she was pre-deceased by four brothers, two sisters, one sister-in-law

Adrian, 61 years, beloved husband of Laurie Bertholet, father of Tyler and Casey. Adrian passed away suddenly at the St. Boniface Hospital Winnipeg, Manitoba on May 3, 2025. A service to celebrate Adrian’s life was held at the Centennial Centre, Hartney, Manitoba on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Private interment in the Grande Clairiere Cemetery at a later date. Janice Louise Palmer (nee Baillie) at the age of 74 passed away peacefully with her Daughter by her side on the morning of Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Janice was born on June 29, 1950. She was predeceased by her Mother Louise Anne Bilton and Father Alexander Allan Baillie, Husband Douglas Palmer and friend Lawrence Kraeker.
Family meant everything to her and her Grandchildren could do no wrong in her eyes. Simple was always the best way and it did not matter as long as we were all together.

Loving wife of the late Don Arnold, Norma was a devoted mother to Gail (Brian), Kim (Lisa), and Jeff (Izabel). She was a cherished Nana and Great-Nana whose warmth and spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Phillips, beloved wife of Bill, mother to Richard (Rick) & Robert (Rob). Janet passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 77. Janet was born April 27, 1947 to Mel & Babs Wilson of Souris, MB. Janet is predeceased by her husband (Merlyn) Bill Phillips.
Janet grew up splitting her time between her grandparents’ farm in Napinka and her parent’s home in Souris. Her and Bill married in 1964 and bought their first farm

Bill Kirkup: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of W.R. (Bill) Kirkup. Bill was born on April 14, 1934, and passed away at the Souris Personal Care Home on March 17, 2025 just days shy of his 91st birthday.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, Sheila Kirkup (Saunderson), and their five sons and their families: Grant (Sandra), Dwight (Nancy), Dwayne (Maureen), Greig, and David. He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Alexander John Hardy was born May 8, 1935. He was the second oldest of Gus and Bertha Hardy’s 7 children. He grew up on the farm and went to school at Deleau. He met Mary Lou Skrine when her country school shut down and she transferred to Deleau to finish her school. They were married May 4, 1957 and had 4 children, Jim, Ken, Karen and Susan. After a hard-fought battle with ALS, we have lost our beloved Randy at the age of 65 years.
He is greatly missed by his wife and best friend Shannon, his daughter Crystal (Jacob), his family and countless friends.
Randy was always the first person to offer help and to make sure that any job he did was done RIGHT. He never asked for anything in return, but wouldn’t say no to a rum and coke or a beer.
