Sanderson – Audrey “Lorraine” passed away Saturday June 27, 2015 in the Souris Personal Care Home at the age of 96.
Lorraine was born in Carman, Manitoba on January 24, 1919 to Francis and Freda Butcher. She was one of 5 children, having 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Lorraine married Reginald Sanderson in May 1937. Together they had 4 sons; Frank “Sandy”, Twins Robert and William, and Tim.
She was predeceased by her husband Reg in 1987, Daughter in Law Ida in 2004, son Robert in 2011
Stobert — Justeen Alana, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the age of 29 years. Justeen Alana was born on October 9,1985 in Red Deer, Alberta. Justeen started her schooling in Brandon but got most of her education in Souris. She graduated in 2004. Justeen loved the outdoors and time spent fishing with her Opa and visits with Nana. She loved to hang out with her Uncle Erwin. Justeen moved to Calgary, Alberta to live with her Aunt Monica.
Saunderson: Charlie passed away peacefully at the Souris Health Centre on July 15, 2014 at the age of 96 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Clarice of 72 years, daughter Muriel (Al), son Ron (Joan), grandchildren Pam (Garth), Colleen (Don), Kim (Rick), Cory (Shawnalee), Steve (Tracy) and 10 great-grandchildren. Charlie was predeceased by his parents Wallace and Hilda, brothers Bill and Ronnie. Charlie farmed for 42 years, first on the family homestead farm and then near Brandon.
Saban — Eleanor, beloved wife of the late Gordon Saban, mother of Catherine, Gina, Ken and Evelyn, passed away at the Souris Personal Care Home on Friday, May 30, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Funeral service was held at St. Paul’s United Church, Souris, Manitoba on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Souris & Glenwood Cemetery. Edythe Passed away Sunday April 13 2014 at Souris Health Center at the age of 91. Edythe was born October 26 1922 in Treherne Manitoba to Ernest and Edythe Harness. While still a baby the family moved to Brandon where she grew up and after graduating high school she spent a few years living and working in Winnipeg.
Andy passed away peacefully at the Souris Hospital March 4, 2014 in his 89th year. Andy was raised and educated in Carroll, Manitoba where he was one of fifteen children working on the family farm.
Stephenson — Dorothy (Dot), 83 years, beloved wife of the late Dave Stephenson, died in the Souris Health Centre, Souris, MB on Saturday, December 28, 2013.
