Hale — Rose, beloved wife of the late Lorry Hale, mother of Darrin and the late Blaine Hale, passed away at the Souris Health Centre on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the age of 79 years. A private graveside service was held at the Souris & Glenwood Cemetery. In memory of Rose, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Saunderson: Charlie passed away peacefully at the Souris Health Centre on July 15, 2014 at the age of 96 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Clarice of 72 years, daughter Muriel (Al), son Ron (Joan), grandchildren Pam (Garth), Colleen (Don), Kim (Rick), Cory (Shawnalee), Steve (Tracy) and 10 great-grandchildren. Charlie was predeceased by his parents Wallace and Hilda, brothers Bill and Ronnie. Charlie farmed for 42 years, first on the family homestead farm and then near Brandon.

Bisson — Denis, beloved husband of Georganne Bisson, father of Jeremy, passed away at the Souris Health Centre on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the age of 59 years. It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of our loving mother, Shirley Kathleen Harkness (Fernell) on June 24th, 2014 at the age of 91. Shirley was born in Gainsborough, SK. on February 28th, 1923 to Myrtle and Percy Fernell of Carnduff, SK. She was one of eight children. JASPER – Garfield Robson Jasper was born on a farm north of Hartney on July 26, 1925 to Norman and Gertrude Jasper. He attended school in Deleau and worked for his father on the family farm. The 2nd World War was on and when Garfield turned 18, he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was sent to Lethbridge, AB for training. Garfield was trained in navigation, Morse code and radio operation. He was discharged with rank of Sergeant and never saw action as the war ended. After the war,
