Karen Stewart (nee: Schultz), a loving wife, mother and Nana, died unexpectedly on April 7th, 2017 at the age of 61 in her home in Hartney, Manitoba. Karen is survived by her husband Wilf; her children Christopher, Michael and Caitlin, daughter in law Kim, grandchildren Deegan, Mckaela and Katie, and her brother Allan. Dooley –Frances Joan Dooley (nee Denbow) born in Deleau, Manitoba on November 1, 1934, widow of John Hyacinth Dooley. Daughter of Andrew and Harriet Denbow passed away peacefully at the Souris Personal Care Home.

Survived by sons: Frank (Sandy), Doug (Marilyn) and Will (Sharla). Grandchildren: Chris (Dessa), Jason (Ashley), David, Taylor, Kellen and Kensie Great grandchildren: Peter, Coral, Kaleb, Lochlainn.

John and Joan were married May 9, 1958 and resided in Souris.

Olmsted, Irene Mary

Olmsted: Irene Mary (Abrey), passed away peacefully on March 22, 2017 at the Hartney Community Health Centre at the age of 96 years. Irene was born December 22, 1920 to Olive (Saban) and Fred Abrey, the youngest of four children. She received her education at Deleau School, then St. Boniface School of Nursing, graduating July 27, 1942 with her RN. She nursed in Winnipeg, Carberry, Brandon and other rural hospitals.

White: Frederick Edgerton White was born on June 22,1932 in Souris, Manitoba, to Gordon and Luella White of Hartney, Manitoba.  Fred passed away on March 17, 2017 in his 85th year. He grew up primarily on the family farm east of Hartney and also spent some time in Dauphin.  He has one sister, Janice McBrien (Bill) of Hartney.
