Kelesnik –Peacefully, Cecilia Rose Kelesnik, formerly of Souris, Manitoba, passed away October 21, 2017 at Red River Valley Lodge, Morris, Manitoba at the age of 95.
Cecilia (Cec) was predeceased by her husband, Daniel, parents John and Sophie Urban, eleven siblings and several nieces and nephews.
Cec is survived by her son Fred(Sharon) and daughter Donna(Dean) Couvier.

Stephen Arnett Groves, beloved son of Betty and Denny Philp, passed away suddenly in the Souris Health Centre on October 19, 2017. Born in Boissevain on September 27th, 1971 to Arnett and Betty Groves, he grew up on the family farm at Carroll and attended school in Souris. He showed extraordinary artistic talent from a very early age. In high school he developed an interest in music, especially the drums and enjoyed playing with various groups of friends. Delwin Earl Murray
Del Murray, beloved husband of Joan, passed away peacefully at the Souris Hospital on October 19, 2017 surrounded by family.
Del was born on November 21, 1926 to Andrew & Verlie Murray, the second youngest of four children. This was the same year his parents moved from a sod hut in Lyleton to a house with running water in the progressive town of Souris where his father opened Murray’s Garage.

Smith, Minnie Henrietta passed away at the Souris Personal Care Home on October 9th, 2017 at the age of 92. Born August 26th, 1925 on the Sellers’ farm in the Bunclody district, she was the second living of five children born to William and Jennie Sellers. She went to grade school in Bunclody, high school in Souris, and went to college at the Angus School of Commerce in Winnipeg. She worked in the Accounting Department at MTS, until her marriage to Alex Smith.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad and Papa, Clifford Stewart Pomeroy on September 27th, 2017, at the Souris Hospital.
Cliff was born on April 20th, 1936 at Riverhurst, Saskatchewan. In 1943, he moved to the South Beresford area with his parents Stewart and Muriel and his sister Betty. Cliff married Florence Kunka (passed Dec. 2014) on June 17, 1961. They had two sons Blaine and Gary. Souris was his family’s forever home.
