Frank Elmer Basiuk, was born September 28, 1929 on the farm homesteaded by his grandfather near Foam Lake, Saskatchewan. He grew up in the nearby small town of Parkerview with his two brothers, Henry and Joseph and his twin sisters Eleanor and Evelyn.
Always active, from a very young age Frank had a penchant for wandering away from the family home, often accompanied by his dog. These early explorations earned him some punishment, but were perhaps indicators for his later willingness and
Joan Ethel McCulloch 1949 – 2021
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness we announce the passing of Joan on Monday, January 25, 2021 in St Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver, B.C.
Joan arrived in Souris, Manitoba on February 23, 1949, and was the second of three children born to Muriel and Gordon McCulloch. Growing up in the close knit community of Souris allowed the always-social Joan to join every club available, which resulted in lasting friendships that remained true throughout her life.

Peacefully, with her daughters by her side, Mom passed away at the Souris Health Centre on Sunday, December 27 at the age of 96.
Edmee was predeceased by her husband Harold; parents Paul and Odile; and siblings Marie, Maurice, Gabriel, and Yvonne.

Phillips: it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bill Phillips on December 22, 2020 at the Souris Health Centre. Bill was born November 15, 1944 in the Souris to Jeanne Demer of Souris and Sandy Phillips, an Air-Force mechanic at the Souris Airport during the War.
He is survived by his wife Janet of 56 years and sons Rob of Hartney and Rick in Montreal. He is also survived by his brother Don (Cheryl) of Brandon, sister Bev (Bill) Wilson of Gladstone and many nieces and nephews.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Herbert Bruce Morrison on Friday December 4, 2020 at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home at the age of 70.
Bruce was born September 26, 1950 in Brandon to Norma & Herbert (Bert) Morrison. Bruce was raised on the family farm south of Beresford with his three younger siblings Donald, Sandra and Craig. He attended school in Souris and then enrolled in a TV Electronics course at ACC.
