Gerow, Verlena Rosetta: Peacefully on October 22, 2015 Verlena passed away at Fairview Home with her family by her side. Verlena was born June 5, 1922 at Fairlight, Saskatchewan, the eldest of three children to Fred and Harriet Richardson. As a young child they moved to a farm at Alexander, Manitoba where she attended school to Grade 9. She then went to work at various farms, the Holms, Robinson’s and at last the Gerow farm at Beresford, Manitoba where she met Garfield. On October 16, 1944

Douglas William Hume, August 19, 1953 to October 16, 2015.  Doug was born in Neepawa, Manitoba the eldest child of Orville and Loretta Hume.  He attended school in Brookdale and Neepawa before the family moved to Carroll in 1968.  Doug along with his siblings helped run the family farm until he purchased his own farm in 1972.  He married Denice in 1973 and they had three girls; Shelly, Pam and Darla.  The girls were raised on the farm outside of Carroll and have many fond memories of

Marion was born October 27, 1933 in Souris, Manitoba, the eldest of 4 children to Frank and Evelyn Kufflick. She attended the Hillsdale School and finished her education at Griswold, Manitoba. Len passed away at the Souris Personal Care Home on October 11, 2015 at the age of 92.

Len was born on August 25, 1923 to Thomas and Julia Haskett, the youngest of nine children.  He grew up on the family farm near Virden and went to Springvale School.  He worked on the farm until he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in March 1942 and was stationed in Yorkshire, England.  After the war, in 1946, he started his working career with the Manitoba Power Commission.

Debra Good passed away September 16, 2015 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Debra was born in Pincher Creek, Alberta on December 11, 1959.
