With our great sadness and sorrow in our hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon Donald Lowe with family by his side, Sunday September 13, 2015.
He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by all family and friends.
Gordon was born June 2, 1934. He was raised on a farm in Sandy Lake, Manitoba and his brother and he attended the providence school.
He met Deanna Pulver in Hamiota, Manitoba and was married in 1960. They raised 4 children in Souris. He has 6 grandchildren, numerous nieces and

DUFILY – John Ernest Arthur “Jack” Jack was born August 30, 1933 in the RM of Cameron. He was the 6th of 7 children born to Arthur and Nellie Dufily. In 1934, the family moved north to Birch River to escape drought conditions of the prairies. Here they stayed for 12 years. They returned in 1946 to farm south of Oak Lake. In 1953 Jack worked on the original oil pipeline from Glenboro to Winkler. From 1954 – 57 he was a farm labourer in the Souris area. In 1958 he began
Andrew Edward “Andy”, beloved husband of Ila, passed away September 9, 2015 at Souris Health Centre at age 86 years. Andy was born at Coulter, MB on February 8, 1929 to Frank and Ethel Lang in a family of five sons and four daughters. Deleau, Albert: With family by his side, Ab passed away on the morning of August 6, 2015 at his residence in the Souris Personal Care Home. Ab was born January 25th, 1922, to Gaston and Valdemire Deleau, the youngest of 3 children. He was born and grew up on the family farm in Deleau Manitoba. He took all his schooling in Deleau where he met his wife Claris Jasper. They married October 30, 1944. They farmed and raised their family in the Deleau district until they retired to Souris in 1979. Over
Laval: Paul Andrew. On July 7, 2015 with loved ones holding his hands, Paul left us for a place that is now more peaceful for him. He was born October 18, 1933, at his paternal grand-parents farm near Wauchope, Saskatchewan, the oldest of six children of Leon and Cecile Laval. In 1943, the family moved to a farm south of Deloraine, Manitoba, where Paul went to Brock School, then high school at Deloraine Collegiate. Louttit, James. 66 years, beloved husband of Sharon Louttit, passed away in the Souris Health Centre on Saturday, July 4, 2015. By Jim’s request there will be no funeral service. Mary Lou was born February 12, 1939 to Fred & Audrey Skrine. She was the oldest of their three children and the only girl. She grew up in the Whitefield district and took her schooling there until the school closed and she went to school in Deleau. That was where she met her husband Alex Hardy.
